That's where Baby Einstein began its own journey. We wondered, "What interests babies? What sounds and music will they find engaging? How will they connect the things they see and hear in the world?"

Helping parents make those connections is what we're doing in the new Discovery Kits. We've connected new and fascinating things in a baby's world to things in the real world. We do it using three types of media – DVD, CD and book or cards – all working together to provide different ways of experiencing a baby's world.

Each Discovery Kit comes with three products – a DVD, a music CD and a colorful book or Discovery Cards – that work together to open amazing worlds of discovery for your little one and you

DVD — A Theater for Little Eyes

The DVD takes your baby on a fun journey of music and moving pictures. Three viewing experiences are available in the Baby Einstein Theater — a Feature Show and two Mini-Shows. The feature Show includes colorful, baby-friendly moving images and funny puppet shows. One Mini-Show is a video version of the Book or Discovery Cards, and the other presents highlights from the Feature. Get the most out of the DVD by experiencing it together, and involve the rest of the family for some fun and bonding time.

Books and Cards for Little Hands

The books or Discovery Cards are a great way to extend and reinforce the Theater experiences. They're also a great way to take baby's favorite images from the Show on the go. Our Level 1 Kits include a PICTURE BOOK featuring images from the DVD with real-world photos. For Level 2 Kits, a set of 10 DISCOVERY CARDS is included. These cards feature key facts and large photos to enhance your experience. Level 3 Kits include a BOARD BOOK with beautiful images from the DVD and words that you can read to your little one.

CD — A Concert for Little Ears

The CD is a playlist of musical highlights from the Feature Show. It allows you to enjoy the music in your baby's bedroom or play area, and while traveling in the car. All Baby Einstein music is brought to you by the Baby Einstein Music Box Orchestra and is composed specifically to delight little ears. Baby Einstein offers music perfect for quiet time as well as music that is great for active engagement and play.

Bring It to Life

This is where you can take the experience to the next level for your little one. Take joy in connecting Discovery Kit experiences to your baby's expanding world. When you go to the zoo, point out the animals seen in the Wild Animal Safari Discovery Kit. Connect animals seen around your neighborhood with those introduced in the Animals Around Me Discovery Kit. Explore the beautiful colors around the house and backyard, take walks in the park, and bring your Discovery Kit to life!
